- Step 1 — Map: Import a photo/map image or switch to "Draw Contours" to draw topographic lines manually. Set the map scale (m per pixel) so distances are correct.
- Step 2 — Roads: Use Line and Curve tools to draw road segments. Curve tool: click an endpoint of a line then another endpoint of a different line to auto-insert a tangent fillet; or click any two free points then a third to draw a 3-point arc — you can start from an existing endpoint in either case. Press Escape to cancel. Use Auto-Fillet All Corners to automatically insert standard-radius curves at all touching line junctions.
- Step 3 — Elevations: Activate the Landmark tool and click near segment endpoints. Set both Road and Ground elevations. Slope is interpolated linearly between landmarks.
- Step 4 — Results: Segment length, cut/fill volumes, and construction costs update automatically. Export CSV or full project when done.
Right-click a landmark on the canvas to jump to its edit panel entry.
Alt + drag anywhere on the canvas to reposition the background image.
When drawing a contour line, double-click the last point to finish, or press Escape to cancel.
If demo files fail under file://, run a local web server before opening.
